Hi:   I’m Jim.

This is a new Blog/Blogger! It’s intention is share info about life on Oxygen.

I’ve been on 02 for 15 years,That’s a long time to be be attached to an umbilical that is connected to your nose.  Hell’uv-a-way to dance or swim or kiss your significant other. One must be inventive if your not going to sit in a corner and vegetate.

I’ll try to add a little humor to the experience because I truly believe life is joy-full experience.  One must learn to laugh at all of lifes ‘chuckholes’ along the way.  Don’t come here to cry/whine about ‘why me’ because the answer will always be”why not”!

We are all in the same boat and some are closer to foundering than others. Share with us the adjustments you have made for your current condition and any ideas to assist others that may be in the same boat.

My boat is currently 4 litres sitting around and 6 litres to move around the house.  I just completed a six(6) minute walk at the hospital and did 1/4 mile & got up to 15 litres to maintain 92% saturation rate.  Of course we all know that to operate at 15 litres we would need to cart around a container that weighs about 200lbs. That is somewhat intimidating.

Like I said, this is just a start, I hope to update it several times a week.  Drop in a comment and let’s help each other.

Don't forget your, Pet Peeves!  I’m sure you will have some.

Thanks for reading- Jim
